Brave toddler agrees to sing national anthem before crowd, only to have 6,000 people on their feet

I’ve always had a deep admiration for the theater and for those who possess the confidence to stand on stage and perform, singing and acting with grace.

Adults dedicate years to honing their skills, rehearsing tirelessly to make their performances appear effortless.

However, the performer you’re about to witness is not an adult but a 3-year-old boy, likely one of the youngest ever to sing the National Anthem.

His rendition is touching hearts everywhere, with nearly half a million viewers already captivated by his performance.

Three-year-old Drake Winslow made history as the youngest person to sing the National Anthem at the School Day game in Syracuse, New York.

This confident young boy not only flawlessly sang the anthem but did so in front of a crowd of 6,000 people, showcasing his remarkable talent at such a tender age.

His incredible performance earned him a standing ovation.

“I just think he’s too little to realize how big of a deal it is,” said Drake’s mother, Chelsea, who stood by his side as he sang.

“We just try to stay calm for him and not really talk it up. We don’t ask him if he’s nervous. So then maybe he won’t think of that. I don’t think he really knows what nervous is yet.”

His mom says her sweet son loves to sing around the house but his favorite song has always been Star Spangled Banner.

Now he can’t wait to sing it again, according to Tip Hero.

Watch Drake’s dorable performance in the clip below.

What a sweet soul this young boy is. I hope he continues to do what he loves to do as it makes so many people happy.
