“What is the secret behind your happy married life?” I asked my friend married friend.

“You should share responsibilities with love and respect for each other,” was his response. After that, there won’t be any issues.

“Could you explain?” I inquired.

“In my household, my wife decides on minor matters, while I make decisions on major ones,” he stated. We don’t meddle with one another’s choices.

I questioned, “Can you give me some examples?” because I wasn’t convinced.

He clarified, saying, “Smaller issues like which car to buy, how much to save, when to visit the supermarket, when and where to go on vacation, which sofa, air conditioner, or refrigerator to buy, monthly expenses, and whether to hire a maid are all decided by my wife. I just agree to it.”

“So what is your role?” I asked.

He declared, “My decisions are only for very big issues, like whether America should attack Iran, whether Britain should lift sanctions over Zimbabwe, whether Bodoland should be formed, or whether Ronaldo should retire from football. And do you know, my wife never objects to any of these decisions…”
