Tom Cruise and Nicole Kidman’s rarely seen kids, Bella and Connor, are all grown up – here’s how they look today

At one time, finding images of the two children Tom Cruise adopted when he was married to Nicole Kidman was almost Mission Impossible. But now, Isabella “Bella” and Connor, both living loudly as prominent members of Scientology, recently stepped out into the public, sharing photos of themselves on social media…

Tom Cruise’s loyalty to Scientology has been far more powerful than his commitment to family. According to the book “A Billion Years: My Escape from a Life in the Highest Ranks of Scientology,” written by Mike Rinder – a former senior executive who defected from the church – the church ran interference in Cruise’s relationship with Nicole Kidman, calling her a “negative influence.”

Kidman, who the Top Gun star divorced 2001, never “took to Scientology during their 10-year relationship,” but their adopted kids, Connor, 29, and Isabella “Bella,” 31, are still active members who, because of their beliefs, are estranged from their mom.

The rules dictate that anyone who leaves the faith is considered a “Suppressive Person” and is cut off from all members of the church, including their immediate family. The Risky Business star also ended a relationship with Penelope Cruz in 2004 when she refused to give up her own religion.

And then in 2012, Katie Holmes filed for divorce and sole custody of their daughter Suri, 18, who, reportedly due to his affiliation with Scientology, now has no relationship with her dad. But Bella and Connor are close with their famous father, and proud members of the Church of Scientology.

Bella, who holds a key position in the church, previously wrote a testimonial and praised the religion as a beacon of hope.

“This IS what I had been searching for. The missing piece. Suddenly everything began to make sense…This is a gift to yourself and so many others,” Bella wrote of her training to become an auditor. According to the Scientology website, the role of an auditor is to “restore beingness and ability.”

Next, she thanks the Top Gun star and his sister Cass Mapother, for their support.

“Thank you to my Dad for everything. To Cass…I would have drowned in my own problems if you hadn’t been there to [support] me or get me through the preliminaries…It took a whole family and an [organization] to get me here.”

Bella, a member of the London chapter of Scientology, lives modestly in Croydon, England with her husband Max Parker, whom she married in 2015.

She now operates her own brand Bella Kidman Cruise, a t-shirt collection featuring her own artwork.

“Bella has been drawing ever since her wee hands could pick up a pen. Since that point in time she’s been evolving in her arts,” she writes on her website.

And while she mostly shares images of her artwork with her fans on social media, every now and then she offers fans a glimpse into her life.

Connor Cruise

Meanwhile, Connor lives in Clearwater, Fla. near the headquarters of the Church of Scientology.

The former SKAM Artist DJ and actor – credited with appearances in 2012’s Red Dawn and Seven Pounds (2008) – spends most of his free time out on the water, deep sea fishing.

“Connor has a pretty simple life in Clearwater,” a source tells People. “He lives in his own home in a Scientology community. His life is deep-sea fishing. He has a lot of friends and seems very well-liked.”
