Everything seemed to be going exactly as planned.
The lights were bright, the music filled the venue, and the audience was completely engaged. She moved confidently across the stage, appearing comfortable and fully focused on the performance.
Then, for a brief moment, something changed.
It was subtle enough that many people in the crowd probably didn’t notice.
She glanced downward.
Her movements slowed slightly.
And then her attention shifted away from the performance.
